Savannah Burch is currently a first-year graduate student studying art therapy at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, PA. Burch's love for the arts has its roots in her childhood. When her family lived in North Carolina, her mother let her take clay and paper-mâché classes at the Penland School of Crafts. In middle school, she fell in love with photography. Burch took a digital photography course for four years in high school and learned how to use Adobe Photoshop. She also explored stained glass and water color painting during her time in high school.
Studying art therapy in college, Burch had to acquire a wide range of artistic skill sets. Engaging in drawing, oil and acrylic painting, film photography, clay, metals, and various other mediums for the first time, Burch found a new love for the wide range of visual arts.
